Why Choose Us

What is a CDT

In gaining the Dip HE at the University of Central Lancashire, Darren has taken part in an intensive program of study, to enhance his existing abilities as a dental care professional. This included extensive research and analysis in science, clinical skills and customer care.

As defined by the General Dental Council, a Clinical Dental Technician (CDT) is a registered dental professional who provides complete dentures direct to patients and other dental devices on prescription from a dentist. They are also qualified dental technicians. Patients with natural teeth or implants must see a dentist before the CDT can begin treatment. CDTs refer patients to a dentist if they need a treatment plan or if the CDT is concerned about the patient’s oral health. Clinical dental technology builds on dental technology. CDTs also
